Architects are the people who design the aesthetic and beautiful buildings. They work on public or private projects and design both indoor and outdoor spaces. Architects can be commissioned to design anything from a single room to an entire complex of buildings.
Architects discuss the objectives, requirements, and budget of a project with clients. In some cases, architects provide various redesign services, such as feasibility and environmental impact studies, site selection, cost analyses, and design requirements. Architects are trained to organize space, understand technical requirements of a building and also have knowledge of building laws and regulations. If you can visualize creations in concrete, the changing skyline and are interested in designing buildings, go for architecture.
The individual needs to be a class 12th passout. Commerce and Humanities students with Maths can also take up architecture.
Starting salaries range from Rs.40, 000-Rs.60, 000 per month. Architects usually get paid vacations, have retirement plans and medical, vision, dental and life insurance plans that are offered to them.
