The scholarship is given to students applying for doctoral courses. Though the scholarship is awarded primarily for 1-year but can be extended on a semester basis, depending upon the performance of the student. The benefits consist of the tuition fee of the course, one-time travelling allowance, monthly stipend, and one-time settling-in allowance to the students. The fellowship is mainly given for studying at the National University of Singapore.
